Prosthetic Molds with TC-1630

We have just posted parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 of a new video series on silicone prosthetics. In parts 1 and 2 we cover the process of correcting and molding a positive and creating a negative mold with TC-1630 casting resin. 1630 is ideal for this process as it is very hard (~75D), heat resistant (suitable for baking foam latex), and does not shrink. 1630 is also moisture resistant so it works well with clay walls made of water-based clay. Part 3 covers the casting process using Super Baldiez cap plastic as an encapsulator and Deadened Gel-25 silicone inside to create a realistic, fleshy prosthetic that will move with the surrounding skin realistically.
